What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director Digital Health position at Parkview Health?
Summary: Plans, designs, controls, directs, coordinates, and evaluates the performance and status of all resources (personnel, hardware, software, bandwidth, etc.) of the digital health department. Works closely with decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization. Collaborates with the SVP in strategic and operational planning. Ensures all team members are well-informed and updated on status of their team’s deliverables. Responsible for assisting in the development and execution of enterprise digital health strategy for Parkview Health System. Develops and facilitates multidisciplinary and cross functional teams across the system.
Education: Master’s degree required.
Licensure/Certification: Epic, PMP, Security and/or IS certification a plus, but not required.
Experience: Minimum 10 years in project and personnel management. Experienced in creating business requirements, project plans, policies & procedures, budgets and schedules. Experienced in supporting purchased and in-house hardware and software applications with understanding of software development and infrastructure project lifecycles. Experienced working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Strong understanding of human resource management principles, practices, and procedures. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills delivered at all levels of the organization, well-developed and respected leadership qualities, and a comprehensive knowledge of digital health. Ability to conduct and direct research into issues and products. Ability to present ideas in business, healthcare, and user-friendly language. Highly motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Must be available and accessible 24/7/365.
