Parsippany Child Day Care Center seeks to fill multiple, full and part time assistant teacher positions in our infant, toddler and preschool classrooms. We are three star Grow NJ Kids rated center. Quality staff is one of the components of quality early care and education.

Options to meet minimum qualifications. Must be able to provide official documentation of educational achievement. If it is a credential which may expire, this must be current (example CDA).
High School Diploma or GED
Attending school or willing to attend school to get CDA within 2 years of hire from a college credit program in Early Childhood Education/Child Development or non-credit CDA program.
** Patience, ability to multi-task, positive and caring attitude, nurturing, ability to interact with children under the age of 5, positive interactions with children, ability to relay information to families and co-workers **
Must pass CARI, CHRI, physical & tb test
Biweekly direct deposit
Ability to read, write and comprehend English
Previous child care experience preferred
Ability to lift 40 pounds, twist, squat, bend
Able to follow rules and regulations of center, licensing, best practices
Change diapers and/or supervise the use of the bathroom
Follows expectations regarding professional behavior and attire
Knowledge of Grow NJ Kids helpful, but not necessary.
