Job duties and requirements:
- Keeping premises of buildings in clean and orderly condition.
- Must be able to lift, load and unload materials weighing up to 50 pounds repetitively and up to 75 pounds occasionally.
- Responsible for sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming and spray buffing.
- Clean restroom fixtures, showers, windows, walls, light fixtures, furniture, carpet, water fountains, microwaves, refrigerators, trash cans, brass, telephones, ashtrays, doors, door frames, and door glass.
- Empty trashcans and recyclable items and transport outside and place in collection receptacles.
- Replace light bulbs and place used tubes in disposal containers.
- Pick up supplies from designated areas and replenish supply closets.
- Maintain supply closet in a clean and orderly fashion.
- May be trained to clean up body fluids such as blood.
- Safety and efficiently operate pick-up or car type vehicle if required by specific job assignment.
- Must be able to comply with all safety regulations and procedures applicable to a chemical plant environment.
- Regular reliable attendance and flexibility to work varied shifts and/or overtime as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
