Our client is seeking a Senior Project Business Analyst who has business analyst project experience specific to Workday Recruitment & Onboarding. This role will provide support for organization change by defining needs, recommending solutions, and supporting project management activities for initiatives.

The Senior Project Business Analyst will have Workday Human Capital Management experience and, preferably, Workday HCM or Workday EM/PM certification. This role will serve as a consultant for the duration of the project, which is expected to run from September to March. The position will be primarily remote but will require onsite work when needed.

Key Accountabilities

• Manage project elements of the business case, eliciting requirements, requirements analysis, communication, testing, and training
• Facilitate development and implementation of strategic and support plans
• Facilitate request for proposal (RFP) activities to deliver functional requirements, vendor scorecards, criteria and scoring results, demo scenarios, and scoring results
• Lead the collection and delivery of requirements, business/use cases, documentation, and test plans, cases, scripts, management, and approval
• Support the execution of process improvement initiatives, creating process flowcharts, value stream mapping, and related documentation
• Facilitate the creation and use of measurement activities required to report on project effectiveness, return on investment (ROI), and other success metrics
• Assist in the project documentation management based on the needs of each project
• Collaborate with stakeholders and project team members to improve the quality of project and program delivery
• Assist in the education and promotion of related methodologies and processes to stakeholders across the organization
• Perform ongoing learning and training related to business analysis, project management, and stakeholder activities

Licenses and Certifications

• Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) or Workday EM/PM certification is preferred
• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) from the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA), PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA), Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), and/or ASQ Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) or Black Belt (CSSGB) certifications are preferred
  
  

Experience:

• Five (5) to seven (7) years of business analysis experience
• Workday HCM project management experience is required
• Experience overseeing medium-to-large complex projects with increasing responsibilities is preferred
• Three (3) years of project management experience in small-to-medium initiatives is preferred
• Three (3) years of experience in a healthcare, research, or academic-related environment is preferred

• Bachelor's degree is required
• Master's degree in Healthcare, Healthcare IT, Business Administration, Management or related field is preferred
