RETAIL ASSOCIATE, 40 HRS/WK, $17/HR

Party City, the largest party goods supplier and party retail chain in the world, currently has openings (Full-Time, 40 hours per week) for the position of Retail Associate at our store located at 12741 Stone Village Way (in the Stonehenge Shopping Center with Wegmans), Midlothian, Virginia.

Party City Retail Associates are involved in every aspect of store operations, from working the register, stocking the shelves, inflating balloons, and even operating the pallet jack. Your Tasks and Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional customer service through personal contact with customers
Answer the telephone and operate the cash register
Prepare and inflate balloon orders
Assist in receiving and stocking merchandise
Unload merchandise from trucks
Check-in shipments
Stage merchandise for the sales floor
Pack out merchandise
Top and down stock merchandise
Assist in merchandising procedures
Responsible for maintaining assigned sections in store as determined by Management
Set and maintain merchandise as per planograms
Flex and fill seasonal aisles
Ensure proper labeling and signing
Execute corporate directed price changes and clearance markdowns
Assist in ensuring data integrity
Assist with seasonal packaway
Follow all safety directives and promote a safe working environment

Uphold Party City’s values, ethics and code of conduct

Performs other duties as needed

Job Requirements:

Able to engage and speak to customers
Have customer service experience in a retail environment
Have cashier experience
Ability to maintain composure under pressure

Physical Requirements:
Ability to regularly lift up to 25 lbs. from floor level to above shoulder height.
Must be able to meet the demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.

Ability to climb ladders.

Sun 8:30-5

Monday 11-7:30

Tuesday Off

Wednesday Off

Thursday 11-7:30

Friday 11-7:30

Saturday 11-7:30
