Job Overview:
The Senior Tax Accountant prepares, and files returns, maintains regulatory compliance and creates or revises procedures for preparing taxes for businesses. Facilitate advanced tax research, resolve complex tax issues and stay updated on the latest tax laws to advise companies on changes they need to make. Also responsible for handling special projects including tax audits, transaction structuring, and implementation of tax planning strategies across PCHI.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Corptax tax software system administrator and specialist
- Assist with federal, state and city income tax return compliance, ensuring timely filing of complete and accurate income tax returns
- Assist in compiling and analyzing state and city apportionment factors
- Assist with state and local income tax audits
- Provide support to the quarterly/annual tax provision process
- Show a good understanding of multi-state tax issues and complexities
- Responsible for tax depreciation using SAGE system

Qualifications:
- 3 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's/Masters Degree in Accountant, Finance, Business, or related field
- Proficient in Excel and Microsoft software
- Relevant tax experience, including a combination of public accounting and corporate tax experience
- Knowledge of both corporate and partnership taxation • Understanding of ASC 740 and tax accounting
Expected Salary Range:
$64,320-80,400
