What you will be doing:
The Creative Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects relating to digital content as well as delivering effective, on-brand, and on-strategy creative solutions.
- Design graphic assets and internal and external-facing media
- Develop web materials, asset management, and graphic testing
- Manage & develop company-wide design language and UI/UX
- Collaboratively work with leadership, UI/UX designers, and developers
- Work well with leadership in design charrettes
- Provide design direction for team members
- Working with content creators and immersing yourself in industry motifs
You must have:
- B.S. in Design, Graphic Design, Digital Art, Marketing or related field
- 5+ years of related experience with 3+ years of creative direction in a corporate or agency setting
- Strong experience with typical design applications (i.e. Adobe Suite, Affinity Suite, Sketch, Pixelmator, etc)
- Excellent graphic design, illustration, and UI/UX skills
- Strong design and art direction skills with attention to detail and consistency
- Interest in human centered design, sustainability, impact, or green building
- Experience with managing creative and graphic assets
You should have:
- Experience and interest in the entire design stack, including UI/UX, visual design, and interaction design
- Experience with video and animation production (Motion, Final Cut Pro)
- Experience with 3D product rendering (Keyshot, etc)
- Strong understanding of front-end/UI technologies
- Past experience creating integrated content across all marketing channels from digital, social media, paid media, mobile, while also understanding packaging, print, and environmental branding strategies
- Strong organizational and problem solving skills
- Work well under pressure
- Experience leading designers, copywriters and UI/UX designers
It’s helpful to have:
- Experience with application development (web, iOS, Mac, Android, Windows, etc)
- Experience with Architectural software (Chief Architect, Revit)
- Experience with Studio Photography
- Familiarity with web development technologies (HTML5, CSS3 & Javascript)
- Familiarity with Agile Development Methodology
