What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fabrication Welder position at Path Engineering?
As a Fabrication Welder (also known as MIG Welder, GMAW Welder), you'll be proficient in various welding techniques including metal inert gas (MIG) and gas metal arc (GMAW). You'll interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints, apply knowledge of wire and filler materials for various steel alloys, aluminum, and some exotic materials, and maintain welding equipment. You'll also be responsible for process inspection, certification, and documentation, as well as finish grinding applications using manual and power tools.
