ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
-Responsible for accounting duties including accounts payable and accounts receivable related to account reconciliation and closing cycles
-Posting daily bank activity for multiple bank accounts
-Assist with outstanding bank reconciliations
-Maintain monthly P/L and balance sheet activity
-Reconcile vendor statements, research, and resolve discrepancies
-Maintain and update the vendor master, including verification of federal identification numbers
-Work with Financial Controller during month-end closing
-Research any outstanding invoices to be paid according to an aged report
-Process expense reports and check request
- Knowledge of Sage 100 preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Detailed oriented, strong organizational skills, excellent communication, great time management
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in healthcare Finance/Accounting is preferred, but not required.
Must have in-depth knowledge of financial reporting, revenue cycle management, accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
EDUCATION
Must have at least an Associate's degree in Accounting, Business or a related field.
