How you will help us on our mission and inspire others:
- Create a positive first impression with every customer interaction whether in person or
over the telephone. - Present a professional image by following established dress code/uniform requirements, personal hygiene standards and through pleasant and efficient interaction.
- Greet customers, whether in person or on the telephone, with a smile and a genuine interest to provide assistance.
- Make eye contact and acknowledge every customer who enters the community, regardless of other duties being performed.
- Answer telephone in a friendly, professional, caring and timely manner using appropriate telephone etiquette, as established by the company, and with a focus on creating a positive, memorable customer experience.
- Accurately route incoming calls to appropriate departments or colleagues.
- Greet, direct and answer questions for visitors, vendors and residents in a professional, friendly and hospitable manner.
- Maintain a sign in/sign out log at the front desk for all residents leaving and/or returning to the community, and the visitor log for all guests.
- Coordinate the pick-up and delivery of express mail services (FedEx, UPS, etc.)
- Make copies, collate documents, send/receive and distribute faxes.
- Timely and appropriately distribute mail.
- Complete filing as assigned.
- Type and post information for residents.
- Record maintenance requests from residents and file work order forms.
- Track RSVP for various marketing functions.
- Create flyers/announcements for community functions.

- Must demonstrate empathy and compassion to connect with customers.
- Must be inspired to serve the needs of our customers.
- Must use imagination and creativity to motivate self and others.
- Ability to work with multi-line, multi-user phone system.
- Previous experience working in a front office environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
- Must have the ability to read, write and follow oral and written direction in the English
language at a level adequate to perform the job duties. - Working knowledge of computers, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to effectively interact and communicate with the seniors.
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service.
- Ability to multi-task job responsibilities.
- Able to maintain regular attendance.
