Pathways Academy is a public charter school in Detroit, Michigan with an intimate setting of under 200 students with a blended instructional model.
Position: Home School Advocate
Reports to: Principal
Education: High School Diploma
Qualifications: Achieving academic excellence requires the Home School Advocate work collaboratively with other members of the school staff and with the parents of each student. The ideal candidate will provide strategies to support student success; maintain and document weekly two-way communication with students and be the primary contact person between student/families; and liaison between student and district staff and any another other duties as assigned by the principal.
Requirements:
- Need at least 2 plus years’ experience.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and provide own transportation.
