Property Management Specialist Schedule / Availability:
40 hours per week, Monday - Friday. Available between the hours of 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
*This employee will be given a company vehicle for all work-related use and some personal use.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Ability to manage multiple projects as assigned, to ensure state and licensing requirements are met in the most cost-effective manner.
· Update and maintain landscaping as well as complete lawn care such as mowing, weeding, trimming, tree removal, concrete and/or block work, and mortar repair.
· Perform snow removal at program sites as well as application of de-icing materials as needed.
· General maintenance/upkeep of homes to include carpentry, drywall, painting, doors, windows, and flooring.
· Knowledge on plumbing, electrical, mold mitigation, and roof repairs.
· Coordination of appliance repair/replacement, as needed.
· Other duties as assigned.
Other Duties, Responsibilities and Expectations
· Uphold duties of a mandated reporter, including annual training on Vulnerable Adult policy.
· Safely use PTC debit and/or credit cards to purchase items for project or repair. Complete weekly expense report for purchases.
· Update maintenance/property log.
· Coordinate maintenance on PTC truck as required per the lease.
· Interact with individuals supported at the program sites as well as other employees in a professional manner.
Qualifications:
Years of experience commensurate with ability to perform essential functions. Dependability and reliability required. Communicate pertinent information to appropriate parties and promptly respond to all work communication. Must have the ability to operate and navigate a computer (laptop, tablet, etc.). Must work well and collaborate with co-workers, show a positive attitude, and maintain confidentiality.
· Ability to pass criminal/registry background checks.
· Sit, stand, walk, bend, and move intermittently during working hours.
· Lift and/or carry items over 50 pounds.
· Meet the licensing, contractual, & other mandated requirements of the state.
· Must possess sight/hearing senses or use prosthetic services that will enable these senses to function adequately.
Working Conditions:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work in a variety of residential settings, housing individuals with varying degrees of disabilities. The employee will be working amongst other employees supporting the individuals residing in the program. The employee will also be performing work on the outside of the residential settings and will be subject to different weather conditions.
