Desk Estimator

The Desk Estimator is responsible for preparing estimates and supplementals for reconstruction and emergency services from 3D scans and Project Director Scopes.

The primary responsibility of this role are to create estimates using estimating software for reconstruction and emergency services and to collaborate with clients to gain estimate and invoice approval.

We ask that applicants for this role reside in the Eastern Time Zone due to job requirements.

$55,000 -$65,000 per year bonus potential

RESPONSIBILITES :

• Meet or exceed all service standards set forth by the client or the company.
• Estimate each loss using a 3rd party estimating software, Xactimate or Symbility (as required).
• Utilize PDO QA for peer review
• Ensure each project achieves a minimum gross profit margin as determined by company standards.
• Complete estimates within 24 hours of assignment
• Communicate and document any change orders and insurance supplements.

Competency Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

• Knowledge of technology (iPhone, iPad, computer)
• Customer Service Skills
• Ability to learn and operate our primary operating systems : RMS, Xactimate, Symbility, MICA and additional systems as requested
• Ability to create documents
• Ability to answer and communicate with customers over the phone or virtually
• Ability to work independently and / or with a team
• Maintain a level of confidentiality

• Experience with Xactimate and Symbility required
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry experience
• Customer Service experience
• Industry certifications (Xactimate Level 1, 2 and / or 3, IICRC and Lead)

Physical Requirement

• Must be able to communicate and converse with customers over the phone or virtually
• Must be able to stay in a stationary position up to 80% of the time
• Constantly operates a computer
