Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documents to prepare accurate time, cost, and labor estimates for projects.
- Utilize your proficiency in HCSS estimating software to deliver precise project estimations.
- Oversee all phases of the contract, from bidding and start-up to construction and closeout.
- Ensure effective job packaging, scheduling, cost & job tracking, and permitting.
- Maintain strong communication with field personnel to address RFIs, change orders, and technical issues.
Candidate Profile:
- Educational Background: Preferred Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Professional Experience: Minimum of five to eight years in heavy civil/project experience with a General Contractor specialty.
- Personal Attributes: Highly motivated, dedicated, with a keen eye for detail and efficiency.
- Additional Requirements: Proficiency in Heavy Bid Estimating Software, Primavera, Suretrack Software, Agtek, and MS Office.
