Pavement Restoration Inc is an existing Pavement /Street Preventative maintenance Contractor working in the States of Texas, Arizona and Colorado currently, for the most part in Residential type subdivisions for both the Cities and Counties. We specialize in maintaining existing street assets with our proprietary products and techniques with both short and long-term contracts with our Agencies having a well-earned reputation for quality, service and product performance that we have grown and achieved year on year over our last 18 years in Business. We are based in Comfort,Texas with our own state of the art Emulsion plant, equipment and logistics and have smaller support operations and equipment based out of Phoenix and Denver. Under the direction of the Company Operations Manager, the Crew Operations Manager will be responsible for managing the contracts and crews working in TX predominantly, as a Turnkey Operation start to finish.
Responsibilities
- manage a small tight knit team of full-time drivers and some temp staffing, setting high standards of quality, safety and efficiencies
- manage and maintain trucks and equipment to our high standards
- work and liaise between our sales staff and other crew managers on contracts for optimum performance
- Control and manage contracts from start to finish, being the key point of contact between ourselves and the City / County agency
- committed to Health and safety of our crews and General Public
- successfully complete contracts to the Agencies and our Standards
- manage the logistics of the Contract from start to finish
Qualifications
- will need strong communication and written skills to deal with all levels and be self-disciplined
- will need strong people management and team building skills and be a team player to motivate his Team
- will need to be able to set a high standard in quality, efficiency and H&S, within their remit
- knowledge and experience in a Public Works / Street Maintenance environment / Constuction experience will be required
- demonstrate great organizational and decision-making skills, being self-motivated
- free and able to work away from home 2-4 weeks at a time on contracts
- will need to be fit and healthy, working in an outdoor environment
Education and Experience
- proven experience in operational / construction management of Jobs and Crews
- Public Works /Streets / Construction
- background required
- must be people / service orientated
- Ideally needs to be located in Texas

- Our crew managers work approx 110-140 days a year on contracts, in our contract season, usually March to November, with breaks in between contracts as salaried staff. The rest of the year is still on full-time salary, paid weekly
- we offer a very good salary, commensurate with experience, along with health insurance and 401K, and travel perdiems - to be discussed at initial interview
- This position will become available in the last quarter 2024/ new year 2025 dependent on candidacy
