What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr AV Technician position at Pavion?
Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Sr AV Technician to join our integration business unit.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Communicate scope of work, project timeline, project design, and budget for small to medium projects to management and client.
- Accountable for the successful completion of project to include: Timely results, Quality of work and Customer satisfaction (project closeout)
- Assemble and install small to medium low voltage systems with minimal guidance
- Troubleshoot complex systems, identify problems, make effort to find solution on own, request assistance if necessary
- Coordinate with Project Manager or Lead Technician to direct team of technicians to meet project requirements
- Ensure materials are available at job site
- Ensure job site is cleaned daily
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3 - 4 years' experience in a similar position
- Able to use hand tools and test equipment
- Expanded knowledge of electrical circuitry and network principles
- Read/understand technical drawings, programming and installation guides
- Arrive for work as directed
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with clients, management and peers. Ability to make presentations to management, clients, others as directed
- Advanced computer skills and software knowledge to include MS Office (Excel, work, Powerpoint, Outlook) and other company software
- Develop goals, prioritize and organize tasks to accomplish the project
- Anticipate and resolve problem/changes; seek assistance as required
- Function as team leader in specific area of expertise
- Must be able to travel overnight
- Must be available for On-Call work
- Valid driver license and acceptable driving record
- AVIXA CTS certification
