Busy asphalt company is seeking an experienced Asphalt Sales Representative to join our team. A strong sales background is required and experience with paving or in the paving industry is a plus. Excellent pay for the right individual.
A successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising focus on excellence and will have responsibilities that include but are not limited to:
- Identifying and prospecting new customers
- Increasing company revenue through increased sales volumes
- Maintaining favorable and effective relationships with current customers
- Assist in overseeing the sales process from estimating to preparing contracts and forecasts to enforcing credit terms
- Assessing sales functions and potential on prospective acquisitions
Basic Qualifications:
- Strong Organizational skills
- Strong Communication skills
- Must be able to problem solve and prioritize tasks
- Must be able to manage stress depending on tasks
- Must be able to multitask
- Must be able to receive and analyze sales and financial information
- Must be able to quickly communicate solutions if problems occur
- Must be able to demonstrate a high degree of sound judgement
- Ability to self-manage is critical, as well extensive experience in all aspects of supplier relationship management.
- Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office preferred
- Bachelor's degree required
- 3-5 years sales experience preferred
· Asphalt Experience preferred; proven success record required.
