PAXFUL is looking for a Senior Manager, Finance who will be a key contributor on the Corporate FP&A team. The role will help with all aspects of the annual budget, forecasting, strategic decision making, system enhancements, and business partnering. The role will directly interact with Senior Leadership as well as other key stakeholders cross-functionally. This is a hand-on role where the individual will play a lead role in influencing strategy and performance management of the business.
The Senior Manager, Finance will have a strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
- Will report to the Director of Finance and other members of the FP&A team. Oversee the development and implementation of corporate financial strategies and objectives
- prepare the consolidated annual and quarterly update forecasts for the income statement, balance sheet and cash flow as well as key metrics reporting/analytics, and decision support
- Be responsible for analyzing key business performance metrics and identifying internal organic performance improvement opportunities
- Develop and implement corporate financial policies and procedures, advise business leaders on financial implications of strategic decisions through long-term planning process and fully implement and transition forecasting tools
- Collaborate with key cross-functional stakeholders across all departments
- Coordinate compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Define guardrails for budgeted spend and advise on annual planning targets for revenue and expenses
- Proactively identify risks and opportunities for the designated business segment by leveraging data driven insights
- Maintain and own the Planful forecasting instance
- Responsible for parts of the earnings deliverables and major contributor during quarterly earnings
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
- 5 years of experience in corporate finance including experience in financial planning & analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and treasury management
- Must also have 2 years investment banking, private equity, or venture capital experience.
- Advanced knowledge of financial statement analysis, financial modeling, and valuation techniques
- Working for a Cryptocurrency/blockchain company is a plus
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- A strategic thinker, analytical and financial modeling skills
- Attention to detail with passion for achieving a high degree of accuracy
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Highly proficient in Excel and Powerpoint, and/or Google Suite
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
