Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process payroll transactions, including but not limited to salary adjustments, special payments, tax allocations, and employee deductions.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records; enter new hires, terminations, and withholding information promptly.
- Collaborate with clients to gather and verify payroll data, addressing inquiries with exceptional service standards.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
- Utilize payroll software efficiently, along with Microsoft Outlook and Excel, to manage data and generate reports.
- Provide support and guidance to clients and team members on payroll-related inquiries via phone and email.
Essential Qualifications:
- Proven experience in payroll processing and administration is essential. Candidates with a background in payroll services or accounting firms will be given priority.
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems and software, with an ability to adapt to new technologies quickly.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally to clients.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Desired Skills:
- Customer service or help desk experience, with a focus on providing solutions in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Strong typing and data entry skills, comfortable working with a variety of software platforms.

Position Details:
- Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Salary: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour, commensurate with experience and knowledge.
