Job Description


The Services organization at Payscale plays a leading role in enabling our customers to #getpayright. As part of our broader Customer organization with Customer Success and Customer Support, our Services team strives to provide a world class customer experience that delivers industry leading customer retention rates that propel our mission for fair and transparent pay.

The Service Product Manager is a cross-functional role that owns the strategy, improvement and execution of a professional services model that improves our customers’ confidence and trust with Payscale and our products and ultimately drives improved retention and growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform market/user research or competitive analysis to identify customer needs and develop professional service offerings designed to better support Payscale’s customer base
  • Manage and monitor trends within current service offerings and make recommendations to resolve gaps and innovate on market needs
  • Gather and analyze existing services customer feedback with the goal of expanding service offerings, or improving upon existing offerings
  • Partner with services leadership to clearly understand the current state of Payscale service offerings
  • Lead new service development, strategy, and existing service redesign from concept through development to market launch of one-time and recurring offerings
  • Work with customer success, client services, marketing, and revenue departments to ensure service launch success and market growth
  • Own internal documentation and external website updates and changes related to services
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop collateral, white papers, or other externally facing materials
  • Assist in the sale of service offerings by attending product demonstration or discovery calls, and recommending services-based solutions to meet specific customer needs
  • Cultivate effective relationships to understand and coordinate on evolution related to persona needs

Qualifications


Requirements:

  • Deep understanding of compensation industry and the needs of compensation professionals
  • Robust knowledge of MarketPay and Payfactors products
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication, presentation, and public speaking skills
  • Organizational, planning, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work in an evolving environment on multiple projects in various stages simultaneously
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5 years of experience in compensation, HR managed services, or a related field preferred

In the spirit of pay transparency, we’re excited to share the target annual salary for this position is $126,500 as well as eligibility for a 10% company performance bonus. If you’re hired at Payscale, your final compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience.
