pc/nametag is looking for an organized and motivated Warehouse Order Picker that wants to be part of a fast-paced company, where customer service is a priority. If you like variety and to wear multiple hats this position will keep you moving. You will help get orders out the door, receive incoming product and be responsible for assembling our make-to-stock inventoried product.

We have a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines as our customers plan some of the largest meetings and events across the country. You will play a vital role in making sure the customers receive their orders accurately and on-time.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work quickly and accurately to fill orders.
• Pick orders from stock or from staging area, ensure customer order and product match, prepare items for shipment, and handle scheduled pick-ups ensuring the carrier can meet the customer’s delivery requirements.
• Receive items by unloading vehicles, accepting deliveries, unpacking containers, inspecting condition of items, comparing count/measure of items to purchase orders, and packing lists – noting any discrepancies, and logging receipts into the inventory system.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code. Report inventory discrepancies. Maintain bin locations in inventory system.
• Work closely with the Purchasing department and Product Managers to assemble samples and inventory items per instructions.
• Assemble customer sample packs and inventoried products
• Utilize company database as needed to make inventory adjustments for products being utilized

Requirements include:

• 1 years of work-related experience, working in a warehouse environment
• Manual dexterity
• Comfortable working on computers and different software systems with ability to read and enter computerized inventory and/or shipping information.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel – experience not required, but must be comfortable learning
• Ability to follow established procedures with the ability to change direction and meet daily order deadlines
• Knowledge of shipping guidelines and experience with small-package freight.
• Experience with international shipments and customs paperwork, preferred
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow precise written and verbal instructions.
• A commitment to customer service and has the motivation to maintain quality control at a level that meets or exceeds set standards
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds; position requires frequent bending, reaching, lifting and the ability to stand throughout the day
• Forklift certification; preferred
• Ability to work Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 5:30 PM, available for overtime when necessary
