Job Description
Title: Night Watch
Reports to: Warehouse Supervisory Staff as Assigned
Job Summary
Primary responsibility is to provide fire watch for the facilities after-hours. Watch for unusual, illegal, or dangerous activities occurring on the premises.
Summary of Essential Job Functions
Patrol warehouses monitoring for smoke or fire, monitor fire protection systems and report any changes to your supervisors. Follow safety and fire safety policies and procedures at all times. Report any suspicious activity to the supervisor and local authorities if necessary.
EQUIPMENT: Perform pre-shift inspections of company night watch vehicles (when available) and operate them safely, following proper policies and procedures. In addition, reporting of identified malfunctions or damage should be reported, following established protocol. Use of handheld devices for night watch duties.
Night watch is required to use their vehicle to perform job duties. The Federal Standard Mileage Rate will be paid for privately owned vehicles used to perform their job duties.

Qualification Requirements
To perform this job successfully. An individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily upon completion of all required training. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and or ability required.
Education and or Experience
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to effectively present information, communicate and respond to questions from managers, supervisors, and co-workers.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Must possess a valid state driver’s license or have the ability to obtain one. All other certifications will be provided through PCCA-Warehouse as deemed necessary by management.
Other Skills and Abilities
Ability to effectively utilize cell phones, email, tablets, and computers.
