JOB DESCRIPTION
DEPARTMENT: Accounting Department
JOB TITLE: Reconciliation/Data Entry Clerk
FLSA CLASS: Non-Exempt/Full-Time
WAGE SCALE: Tier 103
REPORTS TO: Director of Accounting
JOB PURPOSE: The Reconciliation/Data Entry Clerk is responsible for assisting in the maintenance of the Accounting Department data systems, entering accounting entries into the Abila system and providing clerical assistance as need under the guidance of the Director of Accounting.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE: Typing minimum 50 wpm, proficient with usage of Excel, Access and Word, file maintenance and retrieval skills, data entry, computer literate, effective oral and written communication skills, minimum of 2 years’ experience in a data entry or bookkeeping position or an Associate’s degree with Accounting as the major area of study.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:
· Process accounts receivable invoices and statements as required by PCCEO policy.
· Maintain all Accounting Department hard copy and scanned filing of cancelled checks, vendor payments, accounts receivable invoices, etc.
· Enter vendor invoices, cash receipts, journal vouchers and other assigned data into the MIP Accounting software.
· Reconcile assigned bank accounts monthly.
· Type and file routine correspondence and other records.
· Assist in the completion of the financial and compliance audit as well as any other monitoring visits.
· Assist all members of the Accounting Department in clerical detail work as needed.
· To contribute to the development and maintenance of a unity of effort in the PCCEO Accounting Department staff by providing supportive services.
· To provide supportive services to the Director of Accounting, Accounting Clerks, and President/CEO.
· To provide strict compliance with deadlines and assignments.
· To maintain confidentiality of information received by the Accounting Department, recorded in PCCEO meetings and/or contemplated by the Administrative staff.
· Perform other duties as assigned
· Must pass drug screen and criminal records check.
· Must be able to perform the essential duties of the job description.
· Must have and maintain a valid Illinois Driver’s license and reliable transportation and insurance as required by the State of Illinois.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
