What are the responsibilities and job description for the Payroll Manager position at PCL Construction?

Payroll Manager - 190000XB
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is preferred.
  • 7+ years’ experience with payroll processing is a must.
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) Certification is a plus.
  • Experience in compiling and submitting multi-state taxes is a plus.
  • In-House payroll processing is a plus.
  • Experience with JD Edwards’s-E1 and Strategy software is a plus.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required.
  • Ability to handle highly confidential information.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Organizational skills and high level of detail orientation required in order to maintain and submit all necessary documentation and meet deadlines and requirements.  
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with an emphasis on providing exceptional customer service.
