Overview
PDI is seeking a Financial Manager to join the Finance and Accounting Team located in Dallas, TX. The successful candidate will be a key player in generating, managing and presenting actionable financial information and reports to leadership. This individual will spearhead the Company’s financial quarterly forecast, annual budgeting process, operating plan variance analysis, potential acquisition evaluations as well as other special projects. The position will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer.
Responsibilities
- Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including revenue, cost of sales, expenses and capital expenditures
- Explain financial variances in month-end close, budget vs actuals, and forecast vs actuals
- Evaluate complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to leadership for decision-making purposes
- Oversee and manage the continued development of the budgeting, financial forecasting, and operating performance review processes
- Prepare materials and participate in weekly/monthly P&L and Metrics review calls
- Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives
- Support corporate development initiatives
- As well as other ad hoc projects
Qualifications
- Bachelors’ degree in Finance or Accounting required, Master's degree in Finance or Accounting preferred OR equivalent experience
- Team player with a willingness to collaborate
- Strong financial, problem-solving and analytical skills
- Accustomed to and interested in working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage multiple high priority deliverables while delivering high-quality work product
- Detail-oriented and ability to follow through on tasks
- Strong professional communications skills
- Results-oriented attitude
