Reports to: Controller
Position Summary: The Cost Accountant is responsible for providing job costing, production recording and assisting in month end

Areas of Accountability:
Job Costing Duties:
- Prepare and enter all production items into Accounting System
- Save and create the batch detail report
- Enter pours into Accounting System as build assemblies
- Enter daily EPM cutlists into Accounting System
- Ensure inventory usage is correctly applied to jobs via cast ins
- Enter and create all Loose Materials, Field Repairs and Job Cast
- Review Material Database Pricing
Supporting Account Manager
- Help reconcile and confirm transactions to close out the financial month
- Assist with Ad-Hoc reports for jobs
Project Summaries:
- Report on financial performance of projects at different milestones
Requirements
Qualifications
Knowledge and Skills: Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, Advanced Computer Literacy
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance
Experience: 3 years in accounting with manufacturing a plus.
