What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hydrant Painter position at PDS Tech Commercial, Inc.?
Temporary seasonal help. Prepares, cleans, and paints fire hydrants. Familiarity with painting tools and materials. Preps surface by removing old paint, cleaning and paints hydrant by brush. Drives company vehicle in performance of general duties, including housekeeping of vehicle. Ability to use computer device with hydrant locations and driving directions. Conducts work as assigned by the supervisor.
Must be self-directed and able to work effectively in a team environment with little direct supervision.
Valid Drivers license. Ability to perform the essential functions and physical requirement of the job. Ability to carry out oral and written instructions. Basic phone and computer knowledge
Able to work with small hand tools
Hydrant painting and light hydrant maintenance (ex. Tightening, loosening, small hand tool use)
