- Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists while resourcing/maintaining parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
- Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
- Non-wiring assembly of components by performing tasks including but not limited to: examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts, applying graphics, kitting, packing, riveting, non-KPC torqueing and subassemblies.
- Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
- Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
- Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Actively participate in daily housekeeping.
- Utilize the ACE 5S principles to promote continuous improvement to Follow all EH&S and quality policies / procedures and plant rules to Attend daily tool box meetings.
- Perform other duties as requested or assigned Minimum Requirements. High school diploma or its equivalent and/or ability to read and follow directions. Able to operate required equipment.
- Willing to work any shift and overtime as required.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Must have good communication skills.
- Must demonstrate safe work practices.
- Overtime may be required and hours could change based on business needs
