PeaceHealth is looking for an experienced Anesthesiologist for Per Diem work in Ketchikan, Alaska!
Experience Ketchikan, Alaska - a friendly, family-oriented community in scenic Southeast Alaska, just an hour and a half flight from Seattle. Enjoy the idyllic scenery, abundant wildlife, and great opportunities for hiking, fishing, boating. Entrance to the famed Inside passage, a network of waterways, Ketchikan is on an island accessible by jet or ferry and boasts an incredibly rich, native culture - the southern tip of the panhandle is known as the Salmon Capital of the World.
Ideal Candidate
- Possesses a diverse skill set and be comfortable practicing independently.
- Experience in certain specialties including but not limited to General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, OB, Trauma, and Pediatric Dental
- Able to perform ultrasound guided blocks, OB labor epidurals, and central lines
Practice Highlights
- Schedule is Monday-Friday: 7:00am -3:30pm
- Every third day is home call, no secondary call, and very rarely is a case done when on call
- Must be comfortable practicing solo with no backup
- Regularly serves orthopedics, general surgery, OB/GYN. Also ENT, GI, Plastics, Pediatric Dental, Women's Health Surgeries, Urology

Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Relief rate: $276.42
- Airfare, lodging, transportation are covered
