The Opportunity
PEAK Genetics, sister company of Alta Genetics Inc. is seeking a dynamic and self-motivated individual to fill the position as full-time Lab Technician for their bovine semen processing labs. Hours are 1pm- 9:30pm Monday- Thursday & 9:00am - 5:30pm on Friday.
PEAK LABORATORY TECHNICIAN

POSITION OBJECTIVE
PEAK is looking to fill the position of Lab Technician for our Watertown, Wisconsin processing laboratory. In this role, individuals will process, evaluate, extend, package, and freeze bovine products.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Perform processing duties as outlined by company protocols and SOPs
- Evaluate samples for motility, concentration, volume, and quality
- Print straws and maintain accurate records and inventory
- Keep records on bull registration and enter in appropriate databases
- Prepare, wash and sterilize lab equipment
- Perform routine maintenance to equipment and machines as necessary
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Capacity to work on feet and stand for long periods of time
- Willingness to learn and follow company protocols
Ideal
- Basic computer skills working with Microsoft Office

Salary: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
