Premier Dental Center, located in New Braunfels, TX, is seeking an experienced Dental Patient Coordinator looking for growth and the ability to positively affect patients' lives by providing the highest customer service. We hope to find someone with at least one year of dental front office experience who is comfortable reviewing financing options (when applicable) and collecting from patients. Office Hours:
- Monday-Thursday 8 am-5 pm
- Friday 8 am - 2 pm
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Deliver a distinctive patient experience with every patient, both in person and over the phone
- Answer calls and schedule new and existing patients for dental treatment
- Upon arrival, welcome patients into the office, gathering necessary information such as patient demographics, insurance information, and updated health history.
- Maintain a clean and welcoming patient waiting area
- Verify patient insurance eligibility
- Assist with meeting office financial goals by ensuring hygiene and dentist schedules are packed and scheduled appropriately.
- Collect patient payments and post them to their patient ledger
- Reviewing finance and payment options with payments at the time of service
- Update necessary documents into Denticon
- Outbound calls to patients to confirm upcoming appointments
- Additional duties as needed such as assisting with laundry, taking out the trash, refilling supplies in restrooms, and any other necessary tasks in our office
Requirements
- Two or more years in a detal front office capacity
- Insurance verification knowledge
- Comfortable with collecting co/pays outstanding patient balances
- Polished presentation
- Excellent communiation skills both written and verbal
- Strong computer skills knowlege with Google workspace
- Dental practice management experience - Denticon is a plus
- Abiity to work FT Monday-Friday
Salary : $18 - $23
