Peak Honda World is a growing and thriving Powersports dealer in the Denver, Colorado area, and we are looking for an experienced marine (boat) technician to join our team, who is career-minded, highly motivated, and a team player.

Previous marine experience is preferred. Powersports experience would be a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Perform all levels of maintenance and repairs on boats, motors, and trailers, including diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues.

2. Fully and properly conduct inspections on units before and after service is performed, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.

3. Accurately document work performed on each unit, maintaining detailed records of repairs, parts used, and service history.

4. Keep up with all factory online training and tests provided to stay current on industry advancements and best practices.

5. Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication of moving parts.

6. Repair or replace damaged or worn parts, including propellers, steering systems, and bilge pumps, ensuring the integrity and reliability of marine vessels.

7. Install and test new marine equipment and accessories, such as GPS systems, depth finders, and marine radios, to enhance functionality and convenience for customers.

8. Conduct pressure tests and leak inspections on fuel systems and hulls to identify and address potential issues promptly.

9. Operate diagnostic equipment and software to diagnose electronic control module (ECM) faults and reset engine codes, ensuring optimal performance of marine engines.

10. Maintain accurate records of parts inventory, service manuals, and warranty information, facilitating efficient operations and customer service.

11. Assist customers with technical inquiries, providing recommendations for preventative maintenance and upgrades while adhering to safety protocols and environmental regulations.

REQUIREMENTS:
Possess a valid driver’s license with an “M” endorsement & satisfactory driving record.

Minimum of 1 year marine technician experience.
