What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tumbling Team Coach position at Peak Kids?
Responsibilities:
- Educate and train individuals on our competitive power tumbling team.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance skills and performance.
- Provide guidance and instruction on proper techniques, strategies, and rules of the sport.
- Assess and evaluate the progress of athletes and provide feedback for improvement.
- Create a positive and supportive environment for athletes to develop their abilities.
- Manage behavior and maintain discipline during training sessions or competitions.
- Ensure the safety of athletes by implementing appropriate safety protocols.
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff members to coordinate practices, competitions, and events.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with students or athletes in a coaching capacity.
- Strong knowledge of tumbling.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey instructions and provide feedback.
- Ability to motivate and inspire athletes to reach their full potential.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques to maintain discipline during training sessions.
