Who you will be working with:
Nationally recognized for its preservation programs, this state agency works to save the real places that tell the real stories of the Lone Star State. Founded in historic preservation, the agency coordinates with citizens and organizations to preserve Texas history through unique architectural, archaeological, and cultural landmarks.
Job Scope:
- Perform highly complex records and information management work.
- Work under general supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgement.
- Organize confidential donor records.
- Create a digital archive folder for all of the scanned documentation and create a system of digital filing that allows for PDF searches.
- Adhere to established work schedule with regular attendance.
- Performs other related work as assigned.
Requirements/Expectations:
- Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university (or within a year of graduation).
- Prefer coursework or previous experience in nonprofit administration.
- Knowledge of records and information management standards and practices.
- Knowledge of general office management, administrative, accounting, and clerical procedures.
- Skill in operating a personal computer with word processing, database, and spreadsheet software.
About this position:
- Project Term: ASAP - Aug. 31st, 2023; potential for extension/permanent placement
- Rate: $30.00/hr.
- Location: Austin, TX 78701
- Days/Hours: Monday through Friday, (Part-time: 20-30 hours/week)
