Summary / Objective :

This is an entry-level position, position saw grinder 1 is to lean and run multiple machines to sharpen Carbide saw blades

Essential Functions :

Complies with safety and corporate guidelines on business ethics.
Run and inspect saw blades as they are sharpened to print requirements
Maintained equipment, general PMs cleaned grease changed cutting wheels, etc. As required
Maintain the proper flow of material through the production area.
Keep track of all required paperwork
Notify team members of material shortages
Responsible for housekeeping in the work area and following 6S requirements
Complies with safety and corporate guidelines on business ethics.
Strong understanding of general equipment and operations.
Ability to learn and comprehend complex machine setups
Ability to read blueprints and take measurements with calipers and other measuring devices
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
