Peapack Private Wealth Management division includes investment management services provided for individuals and institutions; personal trust services, including services as executor, trustee, administrator, custodian and guardian, and other financial planning, tax preparation and advisory services. Officers from the Peapack Private Wealth Management Division are available to provide wealth management, trust and investment services at the Bank’s headquarters in Bedminster, at private banking locations in Morristown, Princeton and Teaneck, New Jersey and at the Bank’s subsidiaries, PGB Trust & Investments of Delaware, in Greenville, Delaware, Murphy Capital Management, in Gladstone, New Jersey, Quadrant Capital Management in Fairfield, New Jersey and Lassus Wherley in New Providence, New Jersey and Bonita Springs, Florida.
Job Description
The Wealth Advisor serves as the firm’s primary point of contact for a select group of clients and is instrumental in introducing new business development opportunities to the firm. In this critically important role, Wealth Advisors manage client relationships, providing sound financial planning advice and counsel and work closely with all members of the Peapack Private Wealth Management team, as well as multiple other bank departments given our vast offering, to exceed client expectations. Wealth Advisors expected to help grow Peapack’s business through the efficient use of their time with clients, prospective clients, centers of influence and community involvement, making an invaluable contribution to the bank.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and manage existing client relationships, including ongoing regular client contact and communications
- Actively participate in the development of new business and networking opportunities
- Implementation of wealth management strategy and financial plan, including coordination of estate, insurance and tax strategies
- Work with the firm’s investment team and portfolio managers to incorporate clients’ investment strategies with their planning objectives
- Must demonstrate a commitment to extraordinary client service through professional excellence, the highest ethical standards, and the effective use of available resources

- Skilled investment professional that is the primary point of contact for the relationship
- Ability to articulate PGB vision as a boutique private bank with resources of a big firm.
- Holistic approach to wealth management including investment management, trust, banking, planning, and tax capabilities
- Develop a thorough understanding of clients situation and goals
- Build local team within PGB designed for personal accountability to client
- Team members include portfolio manager, trust officer, private banker, tax, and administration.
- Comprehensive review of full balance sheet (assets and liabilities) addressing needs and developing appropriate plans to leverage both sides.
- A consistent discipline for giving client PGBs’ best proactive thinking. Regularly assess and recommend changes based on clients evolving situation, changes to the market and/or tax environment
- Integration of wealth and estate planning incorporating tax planning, family governance, and philanthropic aspirations (legacy).
- Coordination of wealth plan with client’s outside advisors (attorney, cpa and insurance agent)
- Commitment to doing what is right for client, not what sells
