Responsibilities:
- Handles customer service inquiries and problems via telephone, web case, and chat while recording consistent problem areas.
- Customer service is the primary function but may include minimal selling or promotion of products or services.
- Calls are predominantly routine but may require deviation from standard screens, scripts, and procedures.
- Uses a computerized system for tracking, information gathering, and/or troubleshooting.
- Requires general knowledge of the organization, products, and or services, as well as general technical literacy.
- May assess needs and suggest/promote alternative products or services.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience in data entry
- 1-2 years of customer service required
- Call center experience preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Proficient with computers and technology coupled with working knowledge of MS Office
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Effective organizational skills
- Ability to keep accurate records required
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to work occasional Saturdays
As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Pearson provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $17-19.23 / hr This position is eligible to participate in an annual incentive program, and information on benefits offered is here.
