Purpose Summary
Pearson Virtual Schools is looking for a detail-oriented and highly motivated Specialist in Email, SMS, and Lifecycle Marketing to join the team. This is an exciting opportunity if you're passionate about devising strategies to build best in class customer experiences and executing or optimizing lifecycle campaigns to drive business growth to help us meet enrollment and retention goals.
Core Tasks and Responsibilities
- You will join a growing marketing team and report directly to the Lifecycle Marketing Team Lead
- As Lifecycle Marketing Specialist you will manage lifecycle communications, execution, and analysis in order to drive business growth
- Own the end-to-end project management of error free campaigns from inception to deployment and analytics
- Partner with the Lifecycle Marketing Team Lead and Campaign Managers to manage the content calendar, project intake, prioritization and coordination of Lifecycle marketing campaigns and requests
- Collaborate with Partner Marketing, Enrollment, and Retention teams to support strategic approaches on segmentation, targeting, and contact strategies to maximize conversion rate.
- Plan optimization and growth opportunities through A/B and multivariate tests to gain further insights into customer behavior to meet company goals
- Monitor and report on lifecycle campaign performance to drive continuous improvement across email and SMS KPI's including click rates, conversion rates, and unsubscribe rates
Required Skills, Experience, and Competencies
- 2-4 years of experience in a relevant role including marketing automation, digital, email, or lifecycle marketing.
- Demonstrated experience driving business value and orchestrating multichannel marketing campaigns through email and SMS.
- Ability to make data-driven decisions and has a proven track record for running tests and optimizing campaigns, and clearly communicate results and learnings.
- Strong creative and copywriting/proofing skills to clearly communicate product benefits and create customer experiences that make an impact.
- Excellent organizational skills and good time management
- Can effectively manage multiple tasks and projects with varying schedules simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with other members of the marketing team
- Use a logical approach to problem solving
- Familiarity with Salesforce and email automation tools a plus
Key relationships
- Maintains effective relationships with Lifecycle Marketing teammates and other marketing and business stakeholders
- Works closely with Performance Marketing Team, Creative Team, Marketing Program Managers, and Enrollment Team
Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. As required by the Colorado, California, Washington State, New York State and New York City laws, the pay range for this position is as follows:
The minimum full-time salary range is between $60,000 - $70,000.
