Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy and Vision: In collaboration with the Director of Commercial Product Management, develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with Pearson's goals and addresses the needs of nursing students and novice nurses.
Product Development: Translate commercial and customer needs into detailed product requirements and features. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Commercial Product Management, engineering, design, and marketing, to ensure successful product development and launch.
Collaboration and Leadership: Foster strong collaboration across departments and with external stakeholders. Lead by example and mentor team members to drive product excellence.
Commercial Partnership: Work in close partnership with the commercial product management team to ensure alignment of product strategy with market opportunities and business goals.
Customer Focus: Maintain a deep understanding of customer pain points. Ensure that products meet high standards of quality and usability.
Project Management: Oversee the product development process, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. Prioritize tasks and manage resources effectively.
Performance Measurement: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
The minimum full-time salary range is between $150,000 - $160,000.

- 7 years of experience in product management, preferably in the education or healthcare industry.
- Strong technical background with the ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage trade-offs, and evaluate new ideas with internal and external partners.
- Demonstrated entrepreneurial skills with a track record of developing and launching successful products.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
- Experience working closely with commercial product management teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
- Passion for improving nursing education and supporting the development of novice nurses.
