What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Sales Representative (Remote) position at Pearson?
The objective of this position is to drive educational sales of English Language Learning content and services, with a specific focus on digital solutions within the market segment of Adult/HED learning. You will apply an account level sales strategy and acute business acumen to gain market share of ELL product and services including assessment, courseware, digital content, and tutoring support. You will be part of the North America sales team responsible for business development growth in your territory, of Northern California. Your responsibilities will include accurate pipeline tracking and delivering financial KPI’s within the organization.
The key focus of the Sales Representative is to identify strategic market opportunities, specifically at the academic/course level, build relationships with key stakeholders at the account focusing on solution selling, develop a sales strategy to drive market share gains within the HED/Adult market. You will work with internal stakeholders including content development, marketing, sales, and customer success teams to deliver solutions to the market.

The key accountabilities for the role include achieving or exceeding financial targets, accurate pipeline development, marketshare acquisition. This is a remote/home-based position with approximately 60% travel, with 3-4 days a week visiting customers within the territory.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with product and marketing teams to develop a go-to-market strategy which translates into a strategic sales plan for your assigned territory.
- Drive Digital Sales Solutions consisting of assessment, eBook/Courseware content, and service solutions.
- Bring content expert credibility to the customer through solution sales presentations; participate in customer-facing presentations and events
- Provide customer feedback and market intelligence to Product and Services teams to influence future product development.
- Inspire, drive, and collaborate with the North America sales team to drive best practice usage of technology and services.

Essential Skills and Qualifications - Essential Experience/Background
- A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and successful work experience.
- A minimum of 2 years of exceptional sales performance
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues for the benefit of the customer and Pearson.
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office, Salesforce, Excel, PPT
