Responsibilities: Assist Student Program leaders to address business needs relating to recruiting, team building, leadership development and organizational improvement. Assist as needed for various projects. Create and maintain position requisitions and work with PPS. Assist with training materials, job aids, and creating survey questions. Assist with internship and recruiting operations. Maintain high standards of confidentiality of all employee records and information.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to discuss any issues with a wide variety of individuals and groups
- Creative and innovative skills with regards to knowledge and awareness of industry and ambassador program trends and digital advances as they relate to new opportunities and business needs
- Good problem-solving skills
- An organized team player who can manage multiple tasks
- Familiarity with Microsoft suite, TEAMS, Excel, Power Point and Word
- Recent PCA graduate that understands the dynamics and importance of the role
- Four-year college degree
Responsibilities/Tasks:
Recruiting:
- Create job requisitions in Oracle for job openings on team
- Work with HR partner to secure external job link for positions
- Review resumes and determine if they are qualified to meet with hiring managers
- Connect with job applicants to schedule interviews
- Prepare hiring managers with applicant’s resumes
- Communicate with applicants after the hiring process should they not be chosen for the position
- Keep team aware of where we are in the recruiting process
- Work with HR to troubleshoot any issues with Oracle
- Assist with interviewing process
- Work with Student Director of social media to determine steps necessary to move towards required social media presence as a PCA
Internship Placement:
- Promote PCA program with internal hiring managers
- Promote internship program with PCA’s
- Communicate with internal hiring managers about their internship needs
- Match hiring manager job requirements with a candidate’s skill set
- Utilize Microsoft Forms to organize data
- Conduct mid-semester check-ins with all interns and alert manager to any outstanding issues
- Roll out end of semester surveys with stakeholders and PCA’s to identify strengths and weaknesses of internship experience
PCA Development:
- Work with Regional Coordinators and Student Program Intern to facilitate new PCA Training for teams, processes, etc.
- Survey PCA’s to determine professional and development needs
Communication:
- Join weekly team call
- Attend monthly call with all the PCA’s
- Host monthly Regional Connect Calls
- Attend monthly RC and SD Strategy Calls
- Assist with transition to 100% Teams for program
