What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Specialist position at Pearson?
Pearson Accelerated Pathways is looking for a Marketing Specialist to support the marketing team with the analysis, development, and implementation of marketing plans and go-to-market strategies. In this role you will work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager on developing and executing marketing strategies and tactics to grow client and student volume, including but not limited to efforts across social media, email, website, and paid digital advertising. You will also work closely with the Product and sales teams to support go-to-market strategies for new and growing products. You will come to the table with fresh ideas and insights, you understand digital trends, and have a positive, solutions-oriented attitude.
Responsibilities Include:
- Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, social media, and events, taking campaigns from idea generation to successful launch
- Manage multi-channel digital marketing campaigns (social, email, SEM)
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
- Conduct planning, implementation, development and/or servicing of new marketing ideas
- Optimize website and landing pages
- Participate in the development, execution and/or servicing of marketing objectives and tests.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing to adapt strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
- Content creation for client platforms including collaboration with design and content team for execution.
- Conduct market research to identify consumer and BtoB trends, competitor strategies, and new opportunities for growth
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 1 years of marketing experience, with experience centered around acquisition and engagement via digital marketing channels including social media (including Facebook advertising), email (Marketing Cloud), website, and online
- Knowledge of marketing digital tools and techniques
- Experience managing SEO and SEM campaigns
- Ability to deliver creative content, grasp future trends in digital technologies, and act proactively Data-driven mindset
- Team player and strategic thinker combined with strong, detail-oriented execution skills
- Exceptional communication skills
- Passionate about education and the role of Pearson in improving opportunities for adult learners around the world
Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. As required by the Colorado, California, Washington State, New York State and New York City laws, the pay range for this position is as follows:
The minimum full-time salary range is between $60,000 - $65,000.
