Project Manager sought for overseeing simultaneous technology implementations for new B2B customers.
Spotlight is an AWS Platform-as-a-Service that creates animated videos for millions of parents that explains the test results of their students in multiple languages. Each video is mass-personalized to each student so that it explains their exact scores, what they mean along with specific recommendations on how to improve. Customers include State Education Agencies, school districts and other assessment companies. (www.spotlight-education.com)
Early in 2021,Spotlight was acquired by Pearson NCS, the world's largest learning company. As a result, our business has tripled, with continued growth anticipated in 2022. Currently our team has approximately 25 people. We interface closely with another 25 people in other parts of the Pearson organization.
Each new customer requires a custom configuration of our Platform, requiring a team of 8 people approximately 6 months. This involves software engineers, script writers, animators, voice actors, project managers, account managers, and quality assurance personnel.
The Project Manager for Implementation services will oversee a team on approximately 4 projects. They will work along side another Project Manager working on a similar portfolio of projects.
Qualifications:
The Project Manager must have at least 4 years experience working with complex implementations, with overall responsibility for project success. They also must be "data-savvy" because our projects involve explaining complex assessment results (e.g. score files may have 50 columns of data for each student). Finally, our projects involve software development so relevant experience managing software projects is required.
Technical training is a plus.
LOCATION: REMOTE - United States
As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Pearson provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $80k - $95k.
