What are the responsibilities and job description for the Royalties Analyst position at Pearson?
Key responsibilities include:
In conjunction with product management, setting up royalty agreements in our royalty system
Working with IT and centralized royalty teams to maintain clean and updated data within our royalty systems
Assisting authors with payment issues, address details or payment changes, and other service requests
Collaborating with product data specialists to ensure our products are configured in such a way that promotes smooth integration into our royalty system
Definition of the processes required to support royalty payments in response to changing business needs
Manual data processing of platform usage data for royalty payment purposes
Collaborate with centralized royalty teams to prioritize and resolve enhancement requests and bug fixes to Pearson’s royalty infrastructure that allow continuous improvement to our end-user royalty experience.
Establishing standard processes to proactively identify and resolve royalty data issues before they impact author statements.
Partnering with product management to develop and implement a more consistent and simplified approach to our royalty terms over time
The anticipated starting salary range for Colorado-based individuals expressing interest in this position is $60-75K. This position is eligible to participate in an annual incentive program.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or appropriate combination of education and experience.
At least 3 years relevant experience and proven ability
Experience working with business applications/back-office systems such as Oracle or Salesforce
Must have excellent communication and English-language skills.
Must be able to handle work on many projects at once, prioritize and schedule own work, and work independently with minimal day-to-day supervision.
