The Role: Workforce Subject Matter Expert (Remote)

Faethm is growing its team in the US to support the sales and client service teams deliver value to our clients. Core to this work is subject matter expertise in workforce analytics, and strategic workforce planning. We work with large enterprise customers and government agencies to help them understand the impact of technology on their workforce or economy. Recently acquired by Pearson Education, Faethm have ambitious growth plans over the coming year.
About The Role:
Help prospective Faethm clients understand how Faethm’s services can help them:
- Identify how business strategies will impact their workforce
- Understand how components of the Faethm Platform can be integrated into their workforce planning
- Design, and develop workforce strategies
- Implement their workforce strategies and measure progress
- Help Faethm clients integrate Faethm’s from day one
Faethm is seeking candidates with two core skill sets:
- Great communicators with a background in workforce or people analytics, those folks who can explain a complex topic in simple terms to ensure the audience is fully informed.
- Workforce planners who have the scar tissue from working on strategic workforce planning programs and understand it’s more than just a supply versus demand analysis.
- We are looking for a client-focused and self-starting Workforce Analytics expert to join our team and grow with us. Initial responsibilities are detailed below, but we expect this role will evolve over time, and as such, flexibility, collaboration, a passion for your work, an unquenchable thirst for knowledge, and a sense of humor will be essential.
What you’ll be doing:
Reporting directly to the US-based VP and in close partnership with our Sydney-based Director of Workforce Planning, you will be responsible for supporting the pre-sales activity with an in-depth knowledge of your subject, as well as ensuring our customers begin to see value from Faethm services in their strategic workforce planning initiatives from day one.
- Work closely with key internal stakeholders (Sales, Client Insights and Product) to understand their priorities and shifting needs.
- Utilize a customer focused mindset to ensure Faethm presents well to all prospective customers.
- Engage in continuous process improvements to the Faethm suite of products, with a focus on improving our customer’s experience on the Faethm platform.
Required skills & experience:
- Experience using a variety of Organizational Development and Strategic Workforce Planning frameworks
- Ability to translate data analysis into commercial information and recommendations
- Demonstrated workforce strategy development and strategic workforce planning experience
- Experience building strong relationships at all levels and an ability to influence and succeed through collaboration.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and lead peers as well as technical and business stakeholders on complex workforce matters
- Experience of mentoring and/or coaching on technical topics and can develop peers, colleagues, and customers
- Experience translating data insights into practical business recommendations
