Job Summary:
The Busser will clear and reset tables, stock supplies and assist with all setup and cleanup duties. Stocking supplies and assisting guests and staff as needed.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Greet guests on the floor.
- Clear table and fire pits and wipe the tables down as needed.
- Takeout food orders to tables, fire pits and Traps Bar, use large oval trays as necessary.
- Ensure guests have roll-ups, utensils and napkins.
- Stock water stations with glassware, water and ice, refill as needed.
- Stock and maintain snacks for guests throughout service.
- Stock napkins supplies and blankets as needed.
- Maintain and organize supply closets as needed. Order supplies through manager.
- Ensure general housekeeping including cleaning of fixtures, appliances, counters, dusting and sweeping.
- Carry bus tubs and trays of dirty dishes to dishwasher and unload and rack properly.
- Clean up spills immediately and place caution signs out if necessary.
- Start fireplace(s) and fire pits for guests.
- Use radio to communicate to bartenders and managers.
- Must complete TIPS training within first 90 days of employment.
- Set-up and maintain a clean work area.
- Buff glassware using polishing cloth, follow safety practices.
- Attend monthly meetings.
- Knows, models and integrates PBC culture (mission, values, and standards).
- Comply with the Pebble Beach safety and health policies and procedures.
Absolutely Required Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Food safety and TIPS certifications required.
Desired Skills:
- Previous experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods of time and move frequently from area to area. Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, and reach with hands and arms. Ability to carry and balance dish ware and glassware in the course of service. Regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
