What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Peco Pallet?
Job Summary:
Ensure that all depot equipment is kept in good running shape and that preventative maintenance is completed and tracked.
Essential Duties:
- Complete all preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Identify any improperly functioning equipment and repair.
- Complete maintenance work orders in timely manner, keeping records of all work done.
- Keep accurate inventories of supplies and spare parts needed for plant operations.
- Clean or report any contamination or potential food safety issues for customers.
- In the event of an emergency, quickly respond by notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocol.
- Understand and comply with all company rules and regulations of lockout tagout policy.
- Follow all company policies for PPE.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Learn, understand, and adhere to all PECO safety policies and procedures for the depot as well as for your role.
Education, Skills and Experience:
- Graduation from an accredited high school or General Education Development (GED)
- Must know and understand high and low voltage electricity 480/220/110
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills are necessary
- Employee must have a mechanical background
Physical Requirements:
- Employee will need to be able to lift 65lbs
- Exposure to fumes from paint
Work Conditions:
- Work is performed in a warehouse environment
