Peloton is seeking a Data Manager to join our Field Testing Team. This is a great opportunity to join an exceptional team of Engineers, Project/Program Managers and QA team working on the connected devices that are shaping our current and next-generation products.
As a Data Manager on the Field Testing Team, you’ll serve as our data champion, making sure the team has access to reliable and actionable data that we can use to make informed decisions about our products and member experience. In this role, you’ll leverage data to help us understand how our products are performing and which features need to be improved so that we can create the best possible experience for our members. Where necessary, you’ll also partner with internal stakeholders and leverage our enthusiastic testing pool to test our products, features, and services before they’re released to members.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
- Outline and execute a data strategy for the Field Testing Team (i.e. how we request and access data)
- Partner with internal stakeholders (Data Science, Product Analytics, Data Engineering, etc) to implement the Field Test Team’s data strategy
- Work to automate day-to-day Field Testing processes, including, but not limited to, automating responses to tester feedback and building templates for Program and Project Dashboards.
- Help the Field Testing Team define KPIs and success metrics in order to gain actionable insights from our data
- Serve as the team’s Tableau and/or Looker expert:
- Build dashboards
- Hold training sessions
- Help the team become self-sufficient in Tableau and/or Looker
- Understand the technical capabilities and limitations of the Field Testing Community Platform (Centercode) to eliminate data capture barriers
- Leverage program management skillset when necessary
Basic Qualifications:
- B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent experience
- 3 years experience working in the data engineering/science field, applying statistical data analysis to real-world problems
- 3 years experience with data transformation and analysis tools and languages including SQL, R, and Python
- 3 years of experience in project or program management
- Knowledge of machine learning solutions and optimization techniques
- Demonstrated experience telling a story with data and sharing the output of your work with technical and non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated experience managing numerous cross-functional projects concurrently & strategically

- Outstanding presenting and storytelling skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Detail-oriented
- Demonstrated experience working in Tableau and/or Looker helping others use it
- PMP certification
