JOB TITLE: Mig Welder
REPORTS TO: Fabrication Supervisor
DEPARTMENT: Fabrication Dept.
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
SALARY RANGE: $19.00-$23.00 Hourly
OVERVIEW
Pelsue is the industry leader in manufacturing worker safety products and vehicles for the telephone, utility and construction industries. We are looking for welders in our fabrication shop in Englewood. We operate, turret presses, brakes, presses, saws, robotic welder, among other equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ability to setup welder machine, change gas & wire
- Ability to use various hand tools
- Maintain equipment in a safe and effective manner
- Ensure cleanliness of work area

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibilities
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work in a manufacturing metal fabrication shop & will be required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls, and to reach with hands and arms. POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
Full-time position 40 hours
1st shift is Sunday thru Wednesday, 6:30 am to 5:00 pm
2nd shift is Wednesday thru Saturday, 6:30 am to 5:00 pm
Overtime may be required on occasion.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, 2 years previous welding experience will be an advantage to applicant. Ability to pass a post-offer background check.
