Responsibilities
The Area Manager will be responsible for establishing a standard of excellence and leading multiple stores towards success.
- Leadership: Provides guidance and oversight to the District Manager, Area Manager, and Store Managers for all hiring, disciplining, and training initiatives within the territory.
- Business Acumen: Creates sales programs to leverage business opportunities. Establishes sales targets, labor budgets, food cost objectives.
- Operational Excellence: Designs store performance metrics and guidelines for Store Managers to uphold within their locations. Ensures brand standards are satisfactory and that guest surveys are being complete.
- Financial Analysis: Oversees territory and individual store performances; forecast sales data and trends to best support business and staffing needs.
- Culture: Establishes a distinct culture within the territory, implements initiatives to boost morale and improve employee retention.
Qualifications
The ideal person will have management experience overseeing multiple locations, in a fast-paced, customer facing quick-service restaurant.
- Must have experience working in a quick-service restaurant.
- Must have have 3 years of multi-unit management experience in a QSR setting.
- This is a leadership role; a demonstrated understanding of confidentiality is required.
- This is a hands-on position; candidates should be able to sit, stand, traverse, etc. for up to 12 hours and lift up to 50lbs.
- Qualified candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent.
